A gold medal award winning sweet representing Tateyama
Their top product is Gyunyu Sembei, or milk cracker, and was created and produced first in 1932 by the owner’s grandfather. As well as being the Gold medal winner at the 19th National Confectionery Contest, this well-known snack is a true representative of sweets found in the Tateyama area. The Boso area is the birthplace of dairy farming in Japan. Using fresh milk and baked by hand, these crispy crackers are a great accompaniment to a relaxing cup of tea.
